Join a specialist enforcement team at the forefront of complex investigations and high-profile compliance operations. As a Senior Enforcement Officer with Consumer and Business Services, you'll lead significant enforcement activities, mentor inspectors and work alongside law enforcement. You'll work on matters that demand sound judgement, strong investigative instincts and the confidence to make decisions. You'll be at the centre of investigations that protect legitimate businesses and deliver meaningful outcomes for the South Australian community. What you'll be doing • Lead compliance and enforcement operations, including joint taskforce activities. • Represent Consumer and Business Services in court and provide credible witness testimony. • Issue notices, expiations and other enforcement actions. • Conduct interviews, manage evidence and review documentation. • Prepare quality reports, disciplinary documentation and prosecution briefs. • Ensure evidence is collected, labelled, stored, transported and disposed of in accordance with legislative requirements. • Supporting, mentoring and guiding Investigators and inspectors. You know how to navigate sensitive matters with sound judgement, conduct interviews that uncover the facts and build evidence-based cases that stand up to scrutiny. While experience in compliance or investigations is highly regarded, it is not essential. About the Business The Attorney-General’s Department (AGD) is a key portfolio within the South Australian Government, employing more than 1,900 staff.
