About this role
What You’ll Be Doing • Lead the SACE Board's governance, risk, audit, assurance and policy functions to support organisational performance and accountability. • Provide trusted strategic advice to executives on governance, risk, compliance and internal control matters. • Drive the organisation's governance and risk maturity by developing and implementing frameworks, policies and initiatives that embed a strong culture of risk management and compliance. • Lead the annual risk-based Internal Audit and Assurance Program, overseeing audit activities and monitoring the implementation of recommendations. • Build strong partnerships across the SACE Board and with external stakeholders to influence best practice, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with legislative and government requirements. What We’re Looking For • Demonstrated expertise in governance, risk, audit, assurance or compliance. • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify risks and influence organisational outcomes. • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to partner with executives and senior leaders. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing policies and executive-level reports. • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to governance excellence and continuous improvement. Remuneration ASO7 - $116,089 to $125,490 per annum plus superannuation.
