About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lawyer to take on a temporary position in Legal Aid Queensland's Family Law Division. As a Senior Lawyer (Professional Development), you will work closely with the Directors, Principal Lawyers, and the legal practice teams to provide training to lawyers.

In this role you will:

• Design and deliver training about the law, processes, and systems to lawyers across Family Law Services.

• Design and deliver modules as part of the Family Law Services onboarding program for new lawyers to Legal Aid Queensland.

• Create and update elearning modules and other online learning materials to be distributed via the learning management system (LMS).

• Provide advice to Principal Lawyers about training opportunities to support the development of lawyers.

• Contribute to the development of graduate lawyers and deliver training that aligns to legal competencies.

• Develop and provide continuing professional development (CPD) to Legal Aid Queensland staff and preferred suppliers and help coordinate the annual calendar of CPD topics to be delivered by Family Law Services.
