Employment Type: Temporary Full Time; 38 hours per week up to April 2027 Position Classification: Health Manager Level 3 Remuneration: $2,635.66 - $2,994.16 per week + Annual Leave Loading + Superannustion Location: Sydney Local Health District Requisition ID: REQ678291 Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Senior PMO Officer to join the Digital Health & Innovation (DH&I) Program Delivery Office (PDO). About the Role This role plays a key part in strengthening portfolio governance, performance reporting and project assurance across a complex digital health environment. You will support best practice project management, oversee portfolio performance reporting, and ensure adherence to established PMO frameworks and governance processes. You will also support continuous monitoring of portfolio performance, including risk, dependency and financial metrics. You will be working closely with Directors, Project Managers and senior stakeholders to provide high-quality analysis, reporting and governance support to enable informed decision-making at Executive level. About You You are a highly analytical and governance-focused professional with strong experience in a PMO, portfolio reporting or project assurance environment. You bring a structured approach to governance and reporting and are confident translating complex delivery information into clear, meaningful insights for senior stakeholders. Ideal Candidate * Experience in a PMO or portfolio governance role, supporting the reporting and delivery of portfolio, program and/or project services. * Proven ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear, executive-ready reports and presentations. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (including data analysis, modelling and dashboard development). * Experience developing and maintaining portfolio or project performance reporting frameworks and dashboards. * Strong understanding of recognised project management methodologies (e.g. P3O, P3M3, PRINCE2, PMBOK, PMI or equivalent). * Demonstrated experience conducting documentation reviews and supporting quality assurance processes. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of briefing notes and governance materials. * Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timeframes. * Experience using analytics and visualisation tools such as Power BI (or equivalent). * Experience working in digital health, healthcare, or large public sector environments. * Experience supporting portfolio-level risk and dependency monitoring. * Experience contributing to continuous improvement of PMO frameworks, templates and governance processes. * Experience supporting executive or committee-level governance forums.
