What You’ll Do As Senior Pound Officer, you’ll provide on the floor guidance and support to Pound Officers and undertake day to day operations of the Orange City Council Pound including: • Coordinating and overseeing daily on-the-floor operations of the Pound • Leading daily cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of animal enclosures and facility areas • Coordinating daily tasks and support Pound Officers and Pound Assistants during operations • Monitoring animal health and behaviour and maintain accurate records • Undertaking initial health and behavioural assessments to inform treatment and rehoming decisions.
