Senior Product Manager * Full-Time (35hpw) Temporary to September 2027 * Salary Range $134,626 - $162,153pa + super * Location flexible across Sydney CBD, Gosford and Parramatta or an approved Service NSW location * Hybrid working with 1-2 office days per week About the team The Unify Team builds and operates the core digital platform that frontline Service NSW staff use to deliver assisted services to NSW residents. Unify enables staff in service centres, contact centres and mobile service centres to complete complex transactions on behalf of customers, integrating with multiple partner agencies and systems. The Unify Projects Squad focuses on high-impact, complex initiatives that expand Unify’s capability, onboard new transactions, and support the decommissioning of legacy systems across government. This includes projects such as large scale grants, worker and licence checks, and cross agency integrations. The team culture is highly collaborative, outcome-focused and pragmatic. Product managers, designers and engineers work closely together, with strong ownership of outcomes and a shared commitment to building reliable, scalable and trusted services. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical platforms, influence government-wide service delivery, and help shape the delivery of assisted digital services at scale. About you You bring a positive, proactive and high-agency mindset, taking ownership and driving outcomes with energy and intent. As a seasoned product manager you will thrive in a collaborative environment and align strongly to shared team values. You are comfortable operating within the Product Operating Model, with proven experience working in a Product Trio alongside engineering and design, while confidently engaging and influencing stakeholders across a complex organisation. You are accountable for the full product lifecycle, from vision and strategy through to prioritisation and measurable outcomes. You focus on value and impact, using evidence and metrics to guide decisions, and create outcome-based roadmaps that deliver meaningful results. Highly customer-centric, you prioritise discovery and validation, working closely with design and engineering to shape what is built and ensure solutions solve real customer problems. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: * Proven experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager with end-to-end accountability for product vision, roadmap and outcomes * Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in product management roles, working on digital products or platforms * Hands-on experience operating in agile environments, with clear ownership of backlogs, prioritisation and roadmaps (e.g. Scrum, Kanban or hybrid approaches) * Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary product teams, partnering closely with engineers and designers * Experience delivering complex digital products with multiple dependencies and moving parts * Willingness to support key product releases, including occasional overtime or out-of-hours (e.g. weekend) work when needed Desirable Product management certifications (e.g. Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic, Lean Product, Reforge, Product Management Certifications from General Assembly, Brainmates, ICAgile) Essential Requirements To be considered for roles in the NSW public sector, applicants must: * Be NSW residents or in the process of relocating to NSW * Hold appropriate working rights for the type of employment offered - Fixed Term roles require valid work rights for the full duration of the role How to apply Please submit your resume and cover letter as a single document. We will consider role headquarters outside of the above locations where the role can reasonably be performed from that location taking into consideration the operational, financial and customer requirements of the role, and an ability to attend a NSW Government workplace as required.
