Are you an experienced dietitian looking to make a meaningful impact in renal care? Join our team as Senior Renal Dietitian and play a pivotal role in delivering specialised nutrition services to patients with renal disease. In this highly specialised role, you will provide renal nutrition services to outpatients accessing Renal Services, including patients receiving haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and those attending pre-dialysis clinics. Beyond clinical care, you will lead renal quality improvement, service development, as well as practice and redesign activities. You will also provide clinical supervision to junior dietitians and act as a key consultant for nutritional management of renal disease. What you will bring to the role * Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. * Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to perform novel and complex tasks related to renal nutritional care of patients. * Extensive clinical experience and up-to-date knowledge in the nutritional management of patients with complex renal disease and conditions, including experience in renal multidisciplinary teams. * Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with well-developed skills in clinical supervision and student teaching and training. * Demonstrated ability to lead and complete quality improvement projects and provide input towards service evaluation processes. * Dedication to continuing professional development, including maintaining current and high-level knowledge and skills in renal nutrition. * Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
