Employment Type: Temporary Various Remuneration: As per State Award Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: CAM29410 Where you'll be working Royal Prince Alfred Hospital What you'll be doing Senior Resident Medical Officers (SRMO) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology are responsible for the care of patients attending Royal Price Alfred Hospital both as in-patients and out-patients, under the supervision of medical officers, VMOs and Staff Specialists. The SRMO will develop skills which will be suitable for future career development in Obstetric and Gynaecological training. Staff are supported to ensure patients, their families and carers are considered as partners in care to achieve optimal patient outcomes and best possible healthcare experience. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia. * Minimum 2 years of postgraduate experience and intention to apply for RANZCOG training program and demonstrate a plan for achieving selection. * Demonstrate academic achievement and commitment to learning at undergraduate, postgraduate and JMO levels. * Demonstrate ability to identify personal training needs and seek training opportunities. * Demonstrate effective contribution to the multidisciplinary team and appropriate leadership skills for level of training. * Demonstrate ability to initiate, participate and disseminate clinical research including developing own research skills. * Demonstrate participation in clinical governance and patient safety activities. * A commitment to excellence in women’s health and ability to communicate effectively.
