About Our Role Our Senior Resident Medical Officer (SRMO) in Neurointerventional Radiology provides clinical care, under appropriate supervision, to patients requiring Neurointerventional medical services in a complex clinical environment. The successful applicant will gain experience in neurointervention and have responsibilities and opportunities for autonomous practice commensurate with the level of experience of the incumbent. Your Primary Location Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Services is a major teaching hospital and tertiary referral centre based on the Randwick Hospitals Campus. We provide excellent healthcare to SESLHD and specialist health and medical services to NSW. We connect with various universities including the University of New South Wales. Our premier medical facilities enable leading learning opportunities for our staff. We have 450 inpatient beds and almost 3,000 staff. Each year we care for more than 64,000 patients in our Emergency Department and around 50,000 patients are admitted to our Hospital. Click 'Apply for Job' to submit your resume and respond to the following selection criteria: * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category * A minimum of 2 years satisfactory full-time post-graduate experience, including recent demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner in an Australian Health System or within the approved competent authority pathway. * Demonstrated previous experience in Neurology and/or Neurosurgery is desirable. * Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, family members and others members of the health care team. * Demonstrated evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to self-education, including an interest in research in neurosciences and commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management. * Demonstrated good organisational and time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
