Its surgical specialities include - Orthopaedic Surgery, Colorectal, Upper GI Head and Neck, Melanoma and Surgical Oncology, Breast, Trauma, Transplant services, Vascular, Cardiothoracic, Orthopaedic, Plastic and Reconstruction, ENT, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Gynae-Oncology and Urology. The purpose of this position is to provide effective medical services to patients under supervision in a complex clinical environment. Staff are supported to ensure patients, their families and carers are considered as partners in care to achieve optimal patient outcomes and best possible healthcare experience. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. * Minimum 2 years clinical experience, JMO must have worked in an Australian hospital for at least 12 months. * Demonstrated ability to work independently in a supervised environment. * Demonstrated clinical experience and interest in Orthopaedics. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Evidence of continued professional development and commitment to self- education. * Professional attitude, flexibility in work role and commitment to participate in after-hours and on-call rosters.
