Employment Type : Permanent Part Time  Position Classification : Staff Specialist  Requisition ID : REQ683449     Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist to join our Hospital in the Home Service at Concord Repatriation General Hospital!    This role will provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services within SLHD Hospital in the Home, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Hospital in the Home Units as required.     The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.      The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) OR Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) OR Fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine FACRRM), and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award. (Note: The position is currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from date of application, may be considered.)       Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award .
