Professional expertise. Personal purpose. Help shape the North West Growth Area through the design of regional stormwater infrastructure that protects people, property and the environment. As a Stormwater Engineer in the Section 7.11 Design Team, you design major regional detention and bioretention basins, wetlands, sediment ponds, gross pollutant traps, trunk drainage systems, pipes and culverts. You manage projects from investigation through to construction documentation, including briefing surveyors, engaging consultants, developing design options and completing hydrologic, hydraulic and water quality modelling. Develop designs that improve water quality, reduce peak stormwater flows and safely move stormwater through growing communities. You also assess development applications, review impacts on regional infrastructure and provide technical advice to planners and other stakeholders. Your expertise helps deliver infrastructure that supports a liveable, safe and sustainable Blacktown City. The work you do today helps manage growth while protecting local creeks and waterways for future generations.
