TAFE Queensland Gold Coast is seeking passionate and experienced Carpenters ready to pass on their skills and inspire the next generation of tradespeople.
Based at our Ashmore campus , you’ll deliver hands-on training across workshops, classrooms and simulated environments - bringing your real-world experience to life for students at all stages of their learning journey. This opportunity is full time until December 2026 with possibility of extension.

• Salary: $92,930 - $105,218 per annum + 12.75% super
• 4 weeks Recreation Leave annually

About the role
As a Carpentry Teacher, you will:
• Deliver hands-on training and assessment in carpentry
• Teach across workshops, classrooms and simulated environments
• Develop industry-relevant learning and assessment resources
• Support students with inclusive and flexible learning approaches
• Maintain strong connections with industry and training standards
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following mandatory requirements:
• CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Strong, current industry experience in carpentry
Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
