Position InformationWhitebridge is a proudly comprehensive 7-12 high school that offers its 980 students the best educational opportunities, in an inclusive, safe and secure learning environment. The school has an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student population of 9% and a language background other than English of 6%. Additionally, there are three MC classes, three ILSMH classes and one IM class catering to students from Years 7 to12. Selection Criteria * Approval to teach English 7-10, English Years 11 & 12 and English Extensions 1 & 2. Demonstrated capacity to applying literacy and numeracy data as well as evidence-informed teaching strategies to meet individual student needs, with an emphasis on elevating excellence and maintaining high academic expectations. Ability to implement effective positive behaviour for learning and design differentiated learning programs that promote student engagement, support progress and foster academic excellence. Demonstrated commitment to collaborating within a professional and cohesive teaching team to contribute positively to the school’s learning and wellbeing culture supporting student and community success. ConditionsAn unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
