What you'll be doing Campbelltown Hospital is offering a position as a Trainee in Intensive Care for a period of twelve (12) months, including four (4) months of supervised Anaesthetics rotation accredited by college of intensive care medicine. The remaining eight (8) months will provide experience and training in Intensive Care Medicine, supervised primarily by ICU specialists, in the Level 5 Intensive care Unit. Campbelltown ICU is an accredited unit for 12 months of ICU training. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. * More than two years post graduate experience. * Previous experience in the critical disciplines of intensive care, anaesthesia or emergency medicine. * Demonstrated ability to work in a complex clinical environment. * Demonstrated interest and willingness to teach Junior Medical Staff and be involved in research projects and audits ongoing within the department. * Prepared to participate in after hours roster and on-call work as required. * Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgment, expertise and demonstrated teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary team. * Preparedness and ability to work independently in a supervised environment.
