Employment Type: Temporary Various Remuneration: As per State Award Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: CAM29412 Where you'll be working Royal Prince Alfred Hospital What you'll be doing There are 2 positions for an unaccredited trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Medical officers in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology are responsible for the care of patients, under the supervision of Visiting Medical Officers, Staff Specialists and Academic Staff. Each Unaccredited Trainee will spend six months at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and 6 months at Canterbury Hospital. Staff are supported to ensure patients, their families and carers are considered as partners in care to achieve optimal patient outcomes and best possible healthcare experience. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia. * Minimum 3 years ( full time or equivalent) postgraduate experience including recent supervised clinical work at a teaching hospital with level V neonatal facilities and tertiary referral Obstetrics and Gynaecology. * Demonstrated ability to communicate with women and families. * Demonstrated ability to prioritise, organise and meet multiple demands and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. * Demonstrated ability to undertake self-directed learning. * Demonstrated interest and ability to participate in a teaching program and ability to conduct research.
