Employment Type: Temporary Various Remuneration: As per Named NSW (Non-Declared) AHO Medical Officer Agreement 2024 Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: CAM29720 What you'll be doing The purpose of the position is to obtain diverse experience in matters clinical, research, educational and administrative to work towards a future training role in Urology for F.R.A.C.S. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the urology trainee and attend theatres, but will also need to work closely with and support the urology intern. The Unaccredited Trainee will have the ability to participate in the on-call urology roster. There are two positions working as Unaccredited Trainee for six months and rotating as Honorary for the other 6 months to do Prostate Cancer Research at Kinghorn Centre. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia * Completion of at least four (4) years post graduate experience. * Demonstrated interest in Urology as a career. Evidence of intent to join a vocational training program for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (GSSE, Publications etc) and the Urology Training Program * Demonstrated excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and computer skill. * Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team * Demonstrated commitment to self-directed learning and demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise * Demonstrated experience in a variety of surgical specialties in particular Urology. * Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of the Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia Need more information? 1) Click here for the Position Description 2) Find out more about applying for this position For role related queries or questions contact David Ende (david@ende.com.au) Applications Close: 04, August 2026
