What you'll be doing As a Visiting Medical Officer Anaesthetist, you'll provide contemporary, comprehensive specialist anaesthesia services for emergency and elective patients, both inpatient and outpatient, delivering best-practice, evidence-based care across the network. You'll undertake anaesthetic lists, pre-anaesthetic clinics and on-call duties as rostered, and contribute to the administration, development and enhancement of anaesthetic services, including departmental and Morbidity and Mortality reviews. Alongside your clinical work, you'll support the training and supervision of junior medical staff and other clinicians to foster safe, high-quality practice across multiple disciplines. This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.
