What you'll be doing To provide best practice, high quality, patient-centred care that is evidence based in order to achieve quality patient outcomes for the MNCLHD within the Hastings Macleay Clinical Network (HMCN), which include Port Macquarie Base Hospital (PMBH), Kempsey District Hospital (KDH), and Wauchope District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) To engage in practices that promote the best possible health outcomes for patients and supports a culture of patient safety, clinical quality and innovation. To collaborate with clinical teams regarding patient management to enable delivery of high-quality clinical care. To provide clinical leadership and teaching by undertaking supervision and education within the clinical environment of junior medical staff and other staff to foster safe clinical practice. To actively promote and participate in patient safety, risk management and ongoing quality improvement programs to improve organizational processes and own practices. To maintain up-to-date College mandated requirements and demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development. This is a Category A position.
