What you'll be doing As a Wardsperson, you'll provide essential support that enables the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality patient care. You'll work closely with nursing, clinical and support teams to ensure patients, equipment and resources are transported safely and efficiently throughout the hospital. * Safely transport patients using beds, trolleys and wheelchairs while applying correct manual handling techniques. * Assist with patient lifting, transfers and repositioning using specialised equipment to support safe and comfortable care. * Transport equipment, specimens, documents and furniture to help maintain efficient hospital operations. * Assist with mortuary duties, patient identification processes and infection prevention practices while adhering to all safety requirements. * Deliver outstanding customer service and work collaboratively with clinical teams to support patient flow and positive patient experiences.
