About our School:

Yarrabilba State School is a modern Prep to Year 6 school located in the rapidly growing master-planned community of Yarrabilba, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. About the Role:

As the Youth Worker you will liaise between students, school personnel, and the home parents/guardians of any students who encounter educational, social, emotional or behaviour problems.

The Youth Worker reports to the Principal or delegated officer.

Two Temporary Full Time positions available, until 11 December 2026 unless otherwise determined.

Responsibilities:

• Support student wellbeing, engagement, and attendance.

• Build positive partnerships with students, families, staff, and external agencies.

• Identify and support students at risk of disengagement.

• Implement intervention strategies, including home visits and wellbeing programs.

• Maintain accurate records and provide advice to school leadership.

• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
