Employment Type : Temporary Various Remuneration : As per Named NSW (Non-Declared) AHO Medical Officer Agreement 2024 Hours Per Week : 38 Requisition ID : CAM29712 Infectious Diseases Advanced Trainees provide a high standard of clinical care to Infectious Diseases inpatients, outpatients and consultation patients under the supervision of specialist Infectious Diseases physicians and Medical Microbiologists and in the context of fulfilling the requirements of the RACP for Advanced Training in Infectious Diseases. The role also includes supervised general medical management of patients admitted to specialist departments. Trainees will fulfil the service requirements of their Department, which may include attendance and participation in multidisciplinary meetings; clinical meetings; journal clubs, supervision and education of junior medical staff and active participation in antibiotic stewardship, infection control and/or ambulatory care programs.
