We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Oracle HCM Specialist to join our Assets and Digital division. Reporting to the Oracle HCM and Security Manager, this role plays a critical part in supporting, maintaining and enhancing the Human Capital Management (HCM) components of Essential Energy's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment. Working closely with HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Learning and Development, and Organisation Development teams, you will help optimise system functionality, improve business processes, and ensure the integrity of employee and payroll data. You will also collaborate with ERP and Security Specialists to deliver integrated support across multiple business systems and modules. About the Role As an Oracle HCM Specialist, you will be responsible for providing functional support and expertise across the Oracle HCM platform, ensuring a seamless experience for business users while driving continuous improvement across people systems and processes. Key responsibilities include: • Providing expert support across Oracle HCM modules and associated business processes. • Managing and resolving service requests, incidents and system issues while delivering exceptional customer outcomes. • Investigating complex issues, performing root cause analysis and driving resolutions through to completion. • Supporting system upgrades, releases, testing activities and post-production support. • Partnering with HR and Payroll teams to support critical people and payroll processes. • Working with third-party vendors, managed service providers and internal stakeholders to deliver system enhancements and improvements. • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, user experience and system performance across the employee lifecycle. • Supporting change management activities and ensuring governance processes are followed for system enhancements. About You You are a proactive and customer-focused systems specialist who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and improving business processes through technology. You bring strong ERP knowledge, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement. You will have: • Experience supporting Oracle HCM or a similar ERP application. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and implement practical solutions. • Experience supporting software releases, testing activities and change management processes. • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organisation. • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and business outcomes. Required Qualifications/Skills • Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Technology or a related discipline or demonstrated capability through relevant experience and qualifications.
