Business Analyst - Enterprise Applications (2 Year Contract) Location: Tamworth NSW THE OPPORTUNITY • Partner with stakeholders across Council to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities for technology-enabled improvement • Analyse business processes and workflows to deliver innovative and efficient enterprise application solutions • Contribute to the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives and enterprise application projects • Work collaboratively with business units, project teams and technology specialists to achieve positive business outcomes COULD THIS BE YOU? The Business Analyst – Enterprise Applications is responsible for: • Building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and project teams to support technology initiatives • Identifying, analysing and documenting business requirements, opportunities and solutions • Capturing and analysing workflows to develop process and information models that improve efficiency and effectiveness • Contributing to all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation and continuous improvement • Developing business analysis artefacts, strategies, plans and documentation to support successful project delivery • Supporting transformational change and the adoption of new technologies and business processes • Mentoring and coaching team members on business analysis practices and methodologies TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED • NSW Drivers Licence • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent relevant experience • Demonstrated experience (typically 3–5 years) in business analysis, stakeholder engagement and requirements • Experience analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for technology-enabled improvements • Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills • Experience contributing to project delivery, testing and solution implementation activities • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across a diverse stakeholder environment INTERESTED? Salary may be enhanced by additional market allowance, negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation. Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements. Based on the implementation of the digital transformation project, potential ongoing employment may be available pending operational requirements.
