ASD 4, 5 & 6 Cloud Engineers

About this role

ASD 4 & 5 Cloud Engineer ideal candidate will have: • Experience in ICT solutions across hybrid and commercial cloud. • Understanding of network, security, storage and system engineering/solutions. • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages. • Knowledge of automation tools like AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform or Ansible and containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes. • Utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline to streamline development workflows. • Ensuring compliance with national security regulations. • Have a desire to work in a dynamic environment and willingness to learn. • Display adaptability and a positive, inclusive attitude. In addition to the above attributes, the ASD 6 Cloud Infrastructure Engineer ideal candidate will have: • Strong experience in network, security, storage and system engineering/solutions. • Expertise in automation tools like AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform or Ansible and containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes. • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure using relevant ASD tools. • Ensuring cloud infrastructure adheres to governance policies and compliance requirements. • Robust communication skills, including the ability to explain complex problems to management.
