About this role

The Opportunity ASD 6 and EL 1 ICT Development Managers: As the ASD 6 or EL 1 ICT Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting an integrated team of ICT development and maintenance professionals. You will manage all planning, governance, risk and reporting aspects of the capability lifecycle for which the team is responsible. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Australian Signals Directorate’s mission and policy requirements. • ICT Project planning and management. • Provide technical management to an ICT function or team to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and procedures. • Responsible for actively managing key stakeholder relationships. Identify relevant stakeholders’ expectations and concerns to develop and communicate methodologies and practices to achieve outcomes. • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of ICT capabilities. • Schedule resources, inter-dependencies and manage risk. • Managing interdependencies in support of specific business strategies and objectives. ASD 6 and EL 1 ICT Business Managers: As the ASD 6 or EL 1 ICT Business Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and support of an integrated team in ICT solution operations. You will support business management functions underpinning the capability lifecycle for which the team is responsible. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Australian Signals Directorate’s mission and policy requirements. • Problem solving in an ICT Business Management environment. • Required to exercise people management skills to lead a high performing and cohesive team. • Accountable to plan, lead and manage a range of human and physical resources and exercise the associated people and financial responsibilities to achieve business outcomes. • Provide accurate reporting to senior stakeholders. • Agreeing business requirements, and translation of requirements into team plans. • Organise and manage stakeholder engagement activities, including coordination meetings, across multiple projects and stakeholders. • Accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development of their work area.
