Northern Beaches Hospital is offering both internal and external nursing staff the exciting opportunity to transition to Cardiorespiratory care. This is a (12) month program within our Cardiorespiratory ward and Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Available to work full-time for the duration of the program (12 months). Where you'll be working Northern Beaches Hospital Ward 4B What you'll be doing You will be supported by the Cardiology Clinical nurse Consultant and Cardio/respiratory nurse Educator to ensure that you meet all objectives within the program. You will be given protected teaching time, protected observational time in Cardiac Cath Labs and Theatres, supported Coronary Care experience, tasks/ assessments and competencies to complete. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: • Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). • A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development. • Completed a New Graduate Program (does not have to have been at NBH) & All Mandatory Training requirements up to date.
