About the Opportunity As the Roster Improvement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in improving rostering performance by working closely with managers and stakeholders across the District. Combining analytical expertise with change management and training, you will help ensure rosters are efficient, award-compliant, and aligned with workforce needs and organisational priorities. This position plays a key role in strengthening workforce capability and improving operational performance. In this role you will: • Lead rostering improvement initiatives by analysing performance data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies that improve key rostering outcomes. • Provide expert advice, training, and support to roster managers, building capability in HealthRoster, the Rostering Capability Framework, and rostering best practice. • Partner with managers and workforce teams to ensure roster demand aligns with establishment, budgeted FTE, and industrial award requirements. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by supporting change initiatives, monitoring rostering performance, and delivering practical solutions that enhance workforce efficiency. For more information about this role, please view the Position Description About You We are looking for someone who has: • Demonstrated experience analysing workforce or rostering data to identify trends and deliver measurable operational improvements. • Strong knowledge of HealthRoster or similar rostering systems, with an understanding of workforce planning, payroll impacts, and industrial awards (NSW Health experience desirable). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence change across a large and complex organisation. • Experience delivering training, coaching, or support to system users, with a collaborative approach to building capability and improving business outcomes. • A commitment to customer service, continuous improvement, and working collaboratively to deliver high-quality workforce solutions.
