Customer Support Officer Location: Officer, VIC Rate: $41 per hour + Super Duration: Temporary Assignment until September 2026 Part-Time | 8-Day Fortnight We are currently seeking three Customer Support Officers to join a busy and supportive team based in Officer. These positions are available to provide short-term leave cover through to the end of September 2026 and offer an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a community-focused environment About the Role: As a Customer Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing professional and efficient service across a range of channels including phone, email, online platforms, and face-to-face interactions. You will assist customers with enquiries, process requests and payments, maintain accurate records, and work closely with internal teams to ensure positive outcomes for the community. Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality customer service via phone, email, online channels, and face-to-face enquiries. • Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate information regarding services and processes. • Process customer requests, applications, forms, and payments accurately and efficiently. • Maintain accurate records and update information across multiple systems. • Resolve routine enquiries and escalate complex matters where required. • Assist with general administrative tasks to support the Customer Support Team. • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely and effective customer outcomes. About You • Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, reception, or administration. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle enquiries professionally and efficiently. • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. • Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology. • Accurate data entry and administration skills. • Experience processing payments or handling cash transactions will be highly regarded. • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
