DevOps Engineer - L4 — EL1 We are a dynamic team consisting of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), data engineers, and data scientists. We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the entire CI/CD pipeline. Key Responsibilities and Tasks • Build, manage and optimise containerised workflows using Podman and Kubernetes • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery • Write and maintain scripts in Python to automate various DevOps tasks • Utilise GitHub Actions to streamline the development and deployment processes • Collaborate with SREs, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications • Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to identify and resolve issues promptly • Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and applications • Document processes and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team Education, Qualification and Experience Requirements • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role. • Proven expertise in managing containerised workflows using Podman and Kubernetes. • Strong programming skills in Python. • Experience with GitHub Actions for automating workflows. • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices. • Experience working within air-gapped environments. • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently with minimal management oversight. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
