Director - AI Innovation and Transformation

The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia is seeking an experienced and innovative leader to fill the role of Director – AI Innovation and Transformation. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience leading complex digital transformation programs, strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and a sound understanding of responsible AI, governance, privacy, cyber security, risk management, accessibility and human-centred digital service delivery. The role will provide strategic leadership and coordination for the Court’s AI Transformation Program, supporting the responsible, ethical and secure adoption of artificial intelligence to improve safety, accessibility, service quality and operational efficiency. The initial focus will include the development and implementation of multilingual chatbot capability for court users and AI-enabled automation of high-volume registry and administrative processes associated with migration applications.
