The Temporary Employment Register allows hiring managers to identify suitable candidates and fill temporary vacancies as they arise throughout the year. The Temporary Employment Register can be used for non-ongoing (temporary) positions that are short-term or project-based, up to 12 months. Opportunities may be available across APS 2 to APS 6 classifications and Executive Level 1 and 2. Roles may be full time, part time or casual (intermittent and varied hours) and may call for various skills and areas of expertise, for example: • Collections Management - preservation, cataloguing, acquisitions, special collections management, curatorship, archivists • Library Services - reference services, reading room floor, document supply services, collection retrieval, research • Digital and IT Services - IT support and operations, Trove, digitisation, digital preservation, web development, graphic design • Corporate services and administration - finance, human resources, executive support, building management, records management • Exhibitions and Engagement - education, marketing, editorial/publishing, exhibition installation.
