About the Role An opportunity is available for an experienced Payroll Officer to manage the end-to-end weekly payroll process within a large, structured environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance with legislation, and timely payments for employees. You’ll work closely with Finance and HR stakeholders, supporting payroll operations while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and service delivery. Key Responsibilities • End-to-end processing of weekly payroll • Ensure compliance with awards, taxation, superannuation, and legislation • Maintain payroll systems and employee records • Process leave, allowances, overtime, deductions, and salary sacrifice • Prepare and reconcile superannuation contributions • Process termination payments and calculations • Support Single Touch Payroll and end-of-year processes • Provide payroll reports, audits, and data to stakeholders • Respond to payroll and employee payment enquiries Essential Requirements • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing • Experience with payroll systems such as TechnologyOne / CiAnywhere • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Clear written and verbal communication skills Desirable • Experience in end-to-end payroll processing (5+ years) • Exposure to award-based environments • Salary packaging experience If you are interested in this role, please apply now At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
