The Department of Education Permanent and Temporary Section 26 Transfer Register is open for ongoing APS employees to register their interest for a permanent and/or temporary section 26 transfer to the department. The register enables the department to access suitable and experienced individuals for permanent or temporary employment opportunities. This is an expression of interest only and there is no guarantee that opportunities will become available. • You must be employed as an ongoing APS employee (or employed as an ongoing employee under the Parliamentary Services Act 1999 , Intelligence Services Act 2001 , or Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Act 1979 ) to apply. • Opportunities for promotion under the Public Service Act 1999 are not available through this recruitment register. • You will only be contacted in the event a vacancy arises that matches your skills and experience, and your application is not a guarantee that an offer of employment will be made. • Applications remain active until 31 March 2027 . • We also encourage you to apply for any future vacancies through our careers portal .
