Are you looking to help shape Australia's health system? Multiple vacancies are available at the APS 5 level for policy officers interested in working in the Primary Care, Community and First Nations Group. As a policy officer you will have the opportunity to: • undertake research and analysis to inform policy • prepare a range of written materials, including briefs, correspondence and meeting papers for senior executives and Ministers • support the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and programs • build and maintain relationships with stakeholders • contribute to grant and contract management. In these roles, you will: • work collaboratively across government, the community sector and other partners to support improved health outcomes for all Australians • contribute to the development and implementation of policies and programs • prepare high quality briefs and correspondence • manage grants and procurements that turn policy into action • work in a fast paced and collaborative environment, supporting key government priorities and reforms.
