The SESLHD Mental Health Service is a specialised clinical service, providing care to a local population of over 930,000 residents in the Sydney metropolitan area. We provide care within both hospital and community settings to support people living with mental illness at times when acute intervention is needed, or to remain well in their community and lead their own recovery. The MHVCC is offering an exciting opportunity for a recovery-oriented mental health nurse to join our Mental Health Rehabilitation Program. The Registered Nurse will work within strengths-based, recovery-oriented, person-centred, and trauma-informed care frameworks to deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical services, which includes assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and ongoing review, as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting a low case-volume caseload of program participants. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to innovative models of care and supporting participants to achieve meaningful, sustainable outcomes in their recovery journey.
