About this role
About the job **** The Services Australia section 26 APS Register (the register) is open to ongoing Australian Public Service (APS) employees from outside Services Australia. ***** If you are a current employee of Services Australia, do not apply to this register. This register is not intended as a mobility register. Services Australia is seeking registrations from eligible ongoing APS employees external to the agency, for potential ongoing (at level) and temporary (non-ongoing, at level or with higher duties) transfer opportunities that may arise, across a broad range of classifications and divisions. Applicants are encouraged to express their interest in potential ongoing (at level) and temporary (non-ongoing, at level or with higher duties) transfer opportunities under section 26 of the Public Service Act 1999. You can express an interest in roles that match your skills and experience, from APS 3 to Executive Level 2 classifications. The register enables the agency to access suitable and experienced APS employees for opportunities across a broad range of classifications and business areas. How the Register Works Your application will remain valid until 31 December 2026. Applications are not carried over after this time. If you wish to remain on the register post 31 December 2026, you will need to submit a new application to the Services Australia Section 26 Register 2027. You may update or withdraw your application at any time. As vacancies arise throughout the year, your application may be provided to the relevant business areas to assess whether your experience, qualifications, and skills align with available vacancies. Submitting your application does not guarantee an offer of employment, and if you register your interest in an ongoing (permanent) transfer, we recommend you apply for ongoing vacancies advertised through the APS Gazette. You will only be contacted if an opportunity arises that aligns with your skills and experience. How to apply To apply for this vacancy, you will need to submit an online application.
