About the Company Our client is a well-established organisation within the government sector, delivering critical technology initiatives that support nationally important services. As part of a major enterprise transformation program, they are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex technology solutions across infrastructure, applications, security, and data services. About the Role As the Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives. Working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and project delivery teams, you'll provide architectural leadership across a large-scale data and platform modernisation initiative. Key responsibilities include: • Develop end-to-end solution architectures across infrastructure, applications, security, and integration. • Produce architecture artefacts including solution designs, technology assessments, and implementation documentation. • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution requirements and guide delivery. • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and operational requirements. • Provide architectural governance and technical guidance to project teams and vendors throughout the delivery lifecycle. About You You'll be an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions in complex environments. You're comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, leading architectural discussions, and balancing business outcomes with technical excellence. You'll bring: • Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within large enterprise or government environments. • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, security, applications, and systems integration. • Experience designing data migration, platform modernisation, or enterprise integration solutions. • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business audiences. • Experience working within architecture governance frameworks, with TOGAF certification or similar highly regarded. • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance Please apply with current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
