About this role

The National Capital Authority is seeking highly motivated professionals who are passionate about shaping the National Capital into the future, managing and enhancing the nationally significant parts of Canberra, and fostering awareness of Canberra as Australia’s National Capital. We are seeking to build a register of people interested in temporary (non-ongoing) employment opportunities in various roles and levels, to fill anticipated vacancies at the APS 1-6 Levels and Executive Levels 1-2 that may become available over the next 12 months. Note: This register will close 31 December 2026. Applicants who wish to be considered for opportunities in 2027 must submit a new application when the new register opens early 2027. As part of your application, you will be required to indicate your preferred work areas and classifications/levels. Positions available through the temporary employment register will be non-ongoing for an initial period of up to 12 months. PLEASE NOTE You will only be contacted in the event a vacancy arises that matches your skills and experience. Your application is not a guarantee that an offer of employment will be made. Applications on this register will remain active until 31 December 2026, or until you notify the NCA that you are no longer wish to remain on the register.
