Employment Opportunity The Web Publishing team is responsible for maintaining 22 external websites, including actioning content changes for departmental stakeholders. We are also responsible for the departmental intranet, creating public consultations and surveys, and providing advice on website analytics. The main expectations of the successful candidate will be to: • monitor the Web Publishing group mailbox and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner • under limited direction, contribute to the delivery of electronic information to the Attorney-General's Department and its clients by administering and maintaining websites and intranets using a Web Content Management System • ensure the websites meet Australian Government website standards by providing advice and support to stakeholders in relation to web standards and by checking material to be published • liaise with IT and business stakeholders on internet support issues, displaying sound judgement and attention to detail • assist with the project management of web related projects on behalf of the section • provide guidance to stakeholders on relevant authoring standards for internet-based publishing. Specific requirements of the role: • demonstrate strong customer service skills • demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team • experience in web content management is desirable • knowledge of HTML and CSS • experience using GovCMS, Drupal, and SharePoint content management systems • knowledge of google analytics • knowledge of creating accessible Word and PDF documents.
