DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced A03 Business Support Officer/Customer Service to join a busy Queensland Government team in Townsville. About the Role As the Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting business operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of administrative and customer service functions. You will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers and stakeholders to provide high-quality support services. Key Responsibilities • Deliver efficient and professional customer service to internal and external customers. • Coordinate travel bookings including flights, accommodation, charters, ferries and vehicle hire. • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and telephone enquiries within required timeframes. • Support a high-performance team environment focused on achieving service delivery outcomes and KPIs. • Liaise with industry representatives, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery. • Prepare, maintain and update records, reports and documentation with a high level of accuracy. • Provide administrative support and assist with enquiries in the absence of senior staff. • Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers. • Undertake general administrative duties as required. About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Previous administration or business support experience. • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities. • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a team. • Experience working with information management systems such as Ellipse will be highly regarded.
