DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced A03 Maintenance Support Officer to join the Maintenance Response Centre for the North Queensland Region. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing high-quality support to customers and stakeholders. About the Role Working within the Maintenance Response Centre, you will be responsible for providing efficient customer service and administrative support while assisting with maintenance-related enquiries and requests. Key Responsibilities • Answer incoming customer calls and respond to enquiries professionally and efficiently. • Provide high-quality customer service to customers, contractors and stakeholders. • Complete a range of administrative duties in a high-volume environment. • Maintain accurate records and update information systems. • Compile documentation, reports and correspondence with a high level of accuracy. • Manage competing priorities while meeting performance targets and KPIs. • Apply sound communication and negotiation skills to resolve issues and minimise conflict. • Undertake general office administration functions as required. Mandatory Requirements • Moderate experience using Microsoft Excel and Word. • Strong administrative and organisational skills. • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. • High attention to detail and accuracy. Highly Desirable Skills & Experience • Previous experience in a customer support/call centre environment. • Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite. • Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think proactively to solve problems. • Ability to perform under pressure and manage challenging situations professionally. • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly through on-the-job training. • Experience using Outlook and moderate excel. • Knowledge of maintenance-related operations will be highly regarded.
