Position Overview Our government client is seeking an experienced A03 Procurement Support Officer to provide efficient and high-quality customer service and administrative support across procurement and contract management functions. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders, responding to procurement-related enquiries and providing guidance on procedures, instructions, guidelines and standard forms. Key responsibilities include providing purchasing and procurement support, undertaking procurement-related projects and research activities, preparing reports, processing purchase orders, work orders and field release orders, and ordering materials and services required for regional operations. The role also involves maintaining an up-to-date understanding of procurement legislation and departmental requirements while promoting procurement best practice across the business. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a professional, positive approach to teamwork and customer service. Previous experience in procurement, administration, contract support, purchasing or related environments will be highly regarded. Key Duties • Provide customer service and support to their customers and stakeholders. • Process purchase orders, work orders, field release orders and related documentation. • Order materials and services required for regional delivery activities. • Provide procurement, purchasing and contract administration support. • Assist with procurement projects, research and reporting. • Maintain accurate records and databases. • Ordering materials processing purchase orders, work orders, field release orders and services required for regional delivery • Promote awareness and compliance with procurement policies and procedures. • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Highly Desirable • Strong attention to detail. • Previous procurement, purchasing or administrative experience ideal. • Strong organisational and communication abilities.
