Application architect - C#, .Net, Python, Azure

• High profile federal government department • Initial 12 month contract + 2 year extension • Rewarding hourly rates $$/ Hybrid environment A high profile Federal Government department is looking to engage a skilled Application Architect to play a pivotal role in the modernisation of an existing enterprise system and deliver scalable, secure and maintainable Azure cloud-native platform. The successful Application Architect will secure an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for two years and receive a rewarding hourly rate . The successful Application Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Translate high-level solution architecture into detailed, implementable application designs suited to Azure cloud-native environments. • Ensure architecture artefacts are practical, optimised and fit-for-purpose within the target cloud-native platform. • Actively contribute to development of core components, including C#/.NET services, APIs Python data workflows and front-end elements (Angular) where required. • Support integration and refactoring of legacy C++ model components into modern cloud-native application architectures. The successful Application Architect will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise application architectures • Strong hands-on software engineering skills in C#/.NET , Python and modern web Frameworks (Angular) • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Azure cloud-native solutions • Experience implementing DevOps practices using Azure DevOps This is an amazing opportunity with a highly regarded Federal Government organisation to join a technical and collaborative team.
