Grants Specialist (APS6 / EL1 Equivalent) Are you an experienced grants professional with a strong understanding of Commonwealth grants and procurement frameworks? We are seeking a skilled Grants Specialist to support the delivery of a high-profile Australian Government program by developing grant and procurement documentation, ensuring compliance, and contributing to effective program delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, solving complex challenges, and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Develop Grants Opportunity Guidelines (GOGs), risk assessments and supporting documentation in line with the Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles (CGRPs). • Prepare procurement documentation, including Request for Quotes (RFQs), Request for Tenders (RFTs), evaluation reports and financial approvals. • Support the end-to-end administration of grants, including assessment, establishment, payments and reporting. • Establish and manage contracts in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and organisational policies. • Ensure grants and procurement activities align with program objectives and governance requirements. • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have: • Demonstrated experience developing Grants Opportunity Guidelines (GOGs) within a government or international development environment. • Strong knowledge of the Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles (CGRPs) and Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs). • Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing high-quality grant and procurement documentation. • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Experience developing procurement plans and managing contracts will be highly regarded. • Relevant tertiary qualifications in public administration, international development or a related discipline will be well regarded.
