• 12 + 12 + 12month contract - September Start • TSPV or TSPA Security Clearance required • Canberra, ACT • SFIA 5 | Jira | JSM | Confluence Our client, a Federal Government agency delivering critical national security, border, immigration, cyber security, and citizenship services, is seeking an experienced Atlassian System Administrator. Duties of the Atlassian System Administrator. • Manage the end-to-end deployment, upgrading, and maintenance of the Atlassian suite; • Execute regular patching, security hardening, and performance tuning to mitigate risks and optimise system responsiveness; • Provide expert Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support to customers; • Assist in the design and implementation of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) workflows in JSM; • Assist in the migration of legacy service management data into JSM, includingdata mapping, cleansing, and validation; • Deploy and manage application workloads utilising Docker and Kubernetes; • Develop and maintain scripts in Python and PowerShell to streamline system administration and deployment tasks; • Utilise source control for configuration management and assist in the development and execution of Cl/CD pipelines. Skills and Experience Required • 5 years’ experience in system administration, ideally with experience in Jira Service Management (Data Centre) or other service management tooling; • Strong understanding of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and Enterprise; • Asset Management (EAM) principles, including the design of complex object schemas and automated service workflows; • Demonstrated experience in project delivery, including the migration of legacy systems, platform lifecycle management (upgrades/patches), and the provision of Tier 2 and 3 operational supports.
