We are seeking experienced Automation Testing Professionals to join a high-performing Federal Government Agency supporting business-as-usual operations and major project initiatives. Due to increased demand across multiple concurrent projects, the department is expanding its automation capability and is looking to engage Junior, Intermediate, Senior Automation Testers and Performance & Load Testers to deliver high-quality testing outcomes. These roles offer an initial 12-month contract with the view to extend , and operate under a hybrid working model . The Automation Testing Resources will be responsible for but not limited to: • Preparing test strategies, test plans, test conditions and test cases in line with the departments System Delivery Methodology (SDM) • Conducting testing across System Readiness phases including System Test, System Integration Test, UAT, Stress, Volume and Performance testing • Designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts • Raising, tracking and managing defects through to resolution • Participating in reviews of business and functional requirements and other project artefacts The successful candidates will have experience in the following: • Commercial experience in automation testing (ranging from 1+ years for Junior through to 5+ years for Senior and Performance testers) • Strong experience with Selenium (C#) • Experience with MS DevOps / TFS and CI/CD integration • API testing experience using tools such as ReadyAPI • Performance testing experience using JMeter (for Performance & Load roles) • Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio Desirable experience includes: • Exposure to MS Dynamics CRM, SharePoint or similar enterprise platforms • Familiarity with large, complex government systems and environments • Knowledge of operational solutions including security, networks and infrastructure • ITIL knowledge and/or relevant tertiary qualifications This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant regulatory environment, working on complex systems that directly support Australia’s financial markets and consumers.
