Automation Tester

About this role

• Baseline Security Clearance required • Hybrid/2 days WFH | 24 August Start • Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne or Geelong Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, require the services of an Automation Tester (APS6 equivalent). Duties of the Automation Tester: • Undertake functional automation testing; • Communicate and liaise with Project members to ensure appropriate test coverage; • Allocate test scripts, monitor test execution and document results in the test summary report; • Troubleshoot Defects / issues to identify whether the system is behaving as expected; • Create automated test scripts and test scenarios. Skills required: • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and identify Test Scenarios and future state processes to draft test scripts for changes to systems; • Demonstrated functional automation using tools like Playwright; • Demonstrated expert level API automation of Salesforce API’s; • Deemonstrated experience and knowledge of Test Life Cycle Methodology; • Demonstrated ability to manage defects through JIRA.
