About this role

We are currently seeking experienced Casual Civil Maintenance Workers to join a busy Kerb & Footpath Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to essential community infrastructure. About the Role As part of the team, you will assist with the maintenance and repair of kerbs, footpaths and shared paths while supporting a range of general civil maintenance activities. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong work ethic, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to safe work practices. Key Responsibilities • Contribute to the maintenance of footpaths and shared path networks. • Load and unload trucks, materials and equipment. • Perform general civil maintenance duties. • Assist with storm response and emergency works when required. • Complete work to a high standard within required timeframes. • Operate and maintain plant, equipment and tools associated with the role. • Drive trucks (up to MR licence level). • Assist with the implementation of traffic management. • Complete daily documentation, including vehicle inspections, machine hours and timesheets. • Maintain a clean, safe and compliant worksite. Essential Requirements • Current MR or HR Driver's Licence . • Current Work Zone Traffic Management accreditation. • Current Construction Industry White Card . • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a similar civil maintenance role (preferred). • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
