About this role
We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Administration & Customer Service Officer to join a large Federal Government organisation dedicated to supporting Australians living with disability. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and rewarding environment where your administrative and customer service skills will make a real difference. This role is a full time temporary position until December 2026. About the Role This is a diverse and fast-paced position where you will provide high-quality administrative and customer support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. Key responsibilities include: • Providing general administrative and office support • Managing diaries, calendars, and inboxes • Handling customer enquiries via telephone and email and face to face • Scheduling and coordinating appointments for clients • Maintaining accurate records and data entry • Generating reports and supporting documentation as required • Assisting with reception and customer service duties • Supporting team members to meet service standards and deadlines • Providing general executive and personal assistant support when required About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: • Previous experience in administration and customer service • Strong organisational and time management skills • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy • Strong written and verbal communication skills • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • A proactive approach with a positive, can-do attitude • Professional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships Benefits • Immediate start available (pending clearances) • Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm • Temporary assignment • Convenient Boronia location • Competitive hourly rate of $36.27 + Super • Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a Federal Government organisation • Supportive and collaborative team environment Eligibility Requirements Please note: To be considered for this position, applicants must: • Be an Australian Citizen • Successfully complete a Federal Police Check If you are a motivated administration professional who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service and thrives in a busy environment, we encourage you to apply today.
